En värld full av strider, slutade på en tredjeplats. Grattis till Robin som vann! Inte så dum den heller. Men inte med den känslan som Jon och Aninia förmedlade! Nano var också i topp. Mycket bra med d’n’b-loopen där. Soulful!

“I am a DJ. I am what I play.” /D. Bowie Soundcloud / Mixcloud / Spotify — Pic from the last night I was holding a Pecha Kucha talk, three years ago. Soundtracking the livepainting Ewa Cedervall did all through the Pecha Kucha Night event.
I have music as a core element. Thank you for being there, when nobody else was. What is yours?
Today, in honour to David Bowie (who actually shares birthday with my daughter), I played two albums, Blackstar and Let’s Dance. We miss you, David. Your discography amd legacy lives on.
Three years ago. VJ backdrop behind me when I had my last livegig as a DJ. A screenshot. The sword. The focus. The small against the big. David vs Goliath. Or making things simple, the cut of the Gordian Knot at the Tower of Babel? Agreeing on the Universal Language of Music? Beyond, we go. Star Wars mythology introduced tonight with Mika and Nadine. Ep IV. A New Hope. Yes. Landed well! Star Wars Soundtrack. Echoing. Lullaby. Music is my core element. Goodnight!
… and thank you for your music and voice. You soundtracked a big part of my youth. And you were very important for my Karin as well, here a piece from her vinyl archive. Ending my day with listening to “Heal The Pain” while reading a chapter in Handbook of Music and Emotion tonight, “Music for Health and Well-being”. Yes, music for health. But George’s heart in the end said ‘no’. Rest in peace, GM.
Just listened to the first tune on my new phone Honor 8, using my beloved AKG DJ headphones. Great experience, good sound! Salva Mea, with Faithless. Love, incorporated. Period! 1979, as a 13 year old, I carried the music with me in the 1st gen Sony Walkman, in Sweden named Freestyle. Love is music.
One key artist and composer who really got me into electronica, is Jean-Michel Jarre. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend his concert in Stockholm in October, but I hope he will tour more ahead, watching him another time. For – now he got a reason. He just released his third album in the Oxygène trilogy – yesterday. He celebrates the 40th anniversary of the release of his breakthrough album, Oxygène, from 1976. The idea of the third album is to take the minimalist, ambient style from 1976, to 2016 and play/record it with modern technology. The style is still there, recognizable and…
Second of 24 postings, counting down to Christmas. The core. The things that defines you. The most important. I feel the core of me will provide itself as themes for some postings ahead, in this little blog challenge of #blogg24. Family. My everything. I love you. Karin. Mika. Nadine. Soto. Uchi. Deshi. Aikido. An integrated life philosophy, not just a “martial art”. Ai – harmony. Ki – life energy. Do – the way. Practice, and you will learn. Be in the flow of AiKi, and you will find the way to it. Do. With the practice, I keep centered and…
