Today, we had a day of a catch-up, and an emotional back-log hit us. Really really feeling the emptiness and missing! So painful. Good thing Anna Öst came for a Grief Fika, and Linn Bengtsson coming in the night. Linn and us watched the session with the medium from last Saturday. So powerful! I also ran, breaking the 10km/One hour barrier again!

Mika has left us, at 11.34 Swedish Summer Time. I am out of words. I only have a scream. Be with us. Mika, wherever you are now. I love you forever!
Mika gets four infusions of antibiotics a day at home. Here, preparing for the evening delivery. Every sixth hour, so next time in the middle of the night at 1AM. He has been very low on energy today and sleeping very much. Get well soon, dearest!

After a day at work, and then with Mika and Karin at the hospital, just got home with a refill of cat food! Hungry kitteh happy!
This morning we found Mika with fever. So when we went to the hospital to deliver his daily dose of cortisone, we asked them to check it out. Tests showed no infection. But with fever at 39.2 C, they decided to keep him overnight for observation and give him antibiotics every sixth hour from 1pm. I am home with the cats, Karin is at the hospital. All will be fine! Peak summer! 30 degrees Celsius. At work today, the fan worked hard to cool us down.
