Did it today. The annual together-with-my-kids Birthday Photo at the playground terrace at the kiddie hospital in Linköping, with Mika undergoing investigation. Not the regular place to celebrate. But – love is everywhere! Thanks for a loveful b-day, family!
Today, Mika celebrated his birthday taking place one week ago, since he was home last week. They flag when someone is celebrated. A little warmup for our National Day on Thursday as well!
9th of May my mother-in-law turned 70! We celebrated her today in Valdemarsvik, together with her son Roland with family, her sister Solweig and us. Photo by Mika from last Summer. Today, also, is a special day for Karin and me. We have been a couple 11 years and engaged for six years! Hooray for us!

Today, we had a great family day! A day of days! Since Nadine spent Xmas holidays, her birthday and Karin’s birthday in Eidsvoll, Norway, we had a Sunday, catching up with all these three birthdays! Bonus grandma Hedwig arrived at 11am with Jippii the Eurasier. Fika, dinner (topz, Karin!), ice-cream and all that, of course. Thanks Hedwig for the food! And, then – gift exchange! Nadine got an Xmas gift already at breakfast – two movie tickets! And the Quicken from Harry Potter as bracelet from bonus cousin Therése! Later, in the afternoon, Nadine spread her love and gifts around!…
Today, my beloved intended-partner-for-life Karin turned 41. Chill, kicking xmas out of town (as rest of Sweden) according to traditions on Tyska Torget (“banktorget”), and a High Quality take-away pizza grabbed on our way home. Karin dived into her fav food reality show/competition of Australian flare and flavour, while I took an evening run. And finalized by Iron Man re-run on the telly together. In the midst of all – Mika, lovely as Always! Who gave Karin a check on unlimited hugs as birthday present! I love you forever, Akro … Woman?? Unconditionally! Period.
