Had a video chat with Mika and Karin tonight from my workshop in Braås. Miss my family like crazy! Going home tomorrow evening. Day three of our butt-camp, hitting it!
Arriving this morning, for a three day workshop with my mentor and friend Bengt Johannisson, prof. em. in entrepreneurship and business development. I am helping him to virtualize himself, starting off with a WordPress Site and adding social web services onwards. He helps me in my PhD Thesis Synopsis to make my interest in researching how Music For Health is researched tangible, sense-made and doable. He and his wife shows great and warm hospitality, being here in his home for the first time – 19 years beyond the first meeting! Better late than never! Lovely to meet their dog Winnie…

Kiddie clothing swap at Renströmmen, Norrköping. This time we also got some toys! A parking house (he loves the one at his pre-school, happy to get one home too!), some wooden puzzles and an abacus. Great findings, great day!

Mika loves music. Mika loves singing. Mika loves dancing. At the moment, these three songs. He adds new meaning. As with Torn, where Lisa Ajax sings “…pieces”, Mika sings “…pizza”. Just. So. Lovely! And! Cute! Our parental hearts are melting. Our smiles spread as he sings for all of us! A common favourite of both Nadine and Mika is the radiant brilliance of Laleh, singing “Bara få va mig själv” (“Only To Be Myself”). Spot on! Be yourself, Mika. Remind us to be ourselves, Mika. Just. On my reading list – right now. Stefan Stenudd’s book – “Aikido – the Peaceful Martial Art”. Very interesting! Aikido, for me – and almost all who practice it – is an integrated life philosophy. This book deepens the understanding on all aspects of it, in idea and practice.
