One of those days of painful memories. Kulturnatten Norrköping – without Mika. We went out to have a meal at Trottoarbaren, Dynamo, Hallarna. Then, visited some friends at Företagsateljéerna, to see their works of art. I was out also, later in the night.
A day of chill, visiting the windy beach. And then going back home! On my way home, I visited one of our former aikidokas, who moved to Kalmar to study. Nice to be home, and reunite with my Karin and the cats! Thank you, Thomas family for a great distraction in my hard sorrow work, to spend some really great days in Öland! I spent all day out on the run and walk, mostly off grid since the power went off on my mobile. In the night, I got a really great pizza made by a great baker! A nice evening. Later that night, Johan’s Karin also arrived, with their daughter and friends.
Woke up with a nice view over the bay Grankullavik! In the afternoon we went out to Trollskogen, where we had a run. Nice surroundings! You also could see the lighthouse Långe Erik, Ölands Norra Udde. In the evening, the former owner stopped by, and we had a drink. Then, I realized something big! I have been here before! By an invitation from my old friend Johan Thomas, we went to his boarding house Pensionat Grankullavik, which he acquired some years back. It is in the northern peak of Öland. He picked me up by car with his sons in the back seat.

Today we had a visit of my mother-in-law Hedwig, with her Eurasier dog Jippii. The grief was very very strong today, when we came together. The heavy dark cloud was very dense, and on our shoulders. Felt really really hard. But good thing to share tears, and somewhere mobilizing the slightest of hope that we will survive this – together. We are in the planning to have an Open Air event for those who could not attend the Memorial Services and Bye Bye Ceremony. It will be a publice event, and we had to apply to the local police force for a permit. That was handed over today, and here is the sketching on where and when that went with it as attach! September 17, 2019. After some twists and turns, the order finally was placed! With the signature, I walked in the heavy showers with the paper document. Strange thing with the meeting of the traditional and the contemporary – a paper that I had in my canvas hip bag in its envelope, was found a bit wet after the showers … But managed to get it delivered anyways. So great to see that the seeds of love flourish in green! A visit of a debriefing nature with Peter at the funeral bureau today. A good talk! He has been, and is, so great and warm-hearted. He said that taking care of Mika had made a far more and deeper impact than usual, that he will take with him for the rest of his life. Not a single day passing by without thinking of him!
