Today, we celebrated Mika, turning two years of age! We had Hedwig, Jippii and Hanna to visit, so it was great! It doubled as a Mother’s Day, so great to have two gen’s of mothers here. I love this boy like crazy. Thank you Hanna and Hedwig for the gifts!
Mika has some new shoes, Converse style. We were at the playground at Vasaparken today, and he took the opportunity to train walking with his new shoes. And it went great! Above a slideshow! Afterwards, we rewarded us with the true Norrköping Spring Première – Halvars Glass! Halvars Ice Cream! Delightful, as always. A nice day out! Spring is here! Hooray!

Yesterday, Mika took his first determined strong independent steps! He has taken small cautious steps before, but this was the real thing! Captured on video, here are some still frames from that vid! You can see an Insta-edited version over at @relovetheworld! Proud parents, we are!
Today we were at Folkparken (“People’s Park”), where they at the moment take away some trees that are ill. Fascinating to see the big trucks, right Mika? Then we went to the playground part of the park, in the summerish-feeling spring. Wonderful!

Today we went to a clothing and toy swap for babies and kids. We found a decent bunch of clothes for seasons to come – and a new fav toy for Mika! He has spent a great deal of time with it, already.
