The annual Depeche Mode Bar by NEMCOM! Taking over Broadway Café, and playing DM all night! Three sets, one ambient/chill, one pure orthodox chronological, and a fictious live performance, mixing live recordings from live albums! We also played a re-run of Joakim Hedström’s “Complete Broadway Mix”, a mashup of 25 minutes made live 2011 at that year’s DMBAR. Very high spirit, and a marathon DJ set of seven hours! Love!
As a means to point to a future direction, I was having a try-out, to record three 25-minute mixes at place in Coffice, Norrköping. A music-for-productivity concept, where you take tasks and divide them into expected 25 minute chunks, time-boxing, and let the music set tempo, focus and energy to your working. Three modes and energies, represented by three out of five artist aliases – #aBreathing (chill/ambient), #aFlow (lounge/deep/dub) and #aPulsation (driving beats/techno). To be published in time!

In my journey of recovery and rehab, I have much to thank Kundalini Yoga, and NKYC, the center in Norrköping. As a token of gratitude, I helped them out when they were closing their center in Norrköping, in order to focus only on their main one in Söderköping. A quite painful moment, since I remember much of Mika being there as well, playing around, during my work trial/work training year 2017/2018. Thank you Jan and Kathleen, and good luck with the future direction and development!
We visited the grave, Nov 26. It turned out to be the last time with the temporary iron cross with his name. Dark is the sorrow. Green is the hope. Grass growing. Life changing. A day with one of the most tired and exhausted feelings in a very long time. Hence, retrospective blogging.

When we had our Mika Memorial and Bye Bye the 29th of August, Grandma Hedwig ended the ceremony with a baloon rising up in the air, with signatures on a photo of Mika from all of us attending. The Funeral Bureau had two extra baloons, just in case, and we got one of them home. It has been high up in our living room ever since. The other day I wondered when the helium would leave enough for it to sink. It happened yesterday! Mika, we felt, played around with it for a while, up … down … aside ……
