Yesterday we were on a walkabout. We get out, and Mika decides where to go. He likes to hang around at the train station. So ww went there, and got out on a platform. The Stockholm – Norrköping regional train arrived, and the driver was kind enough to let Mika on board to let him sit on the driver’s seat! He was very curious and happy! Thank you driver for being so kind! A memory for life! And he loves trains now!

Today we had a regular checkup to follow up on his heart insufficiency. After the ultrasound cardiography, it was concluded that he now was all well! His heart has normal capacity! Such a releif! Well, ok, his permanent “electrical” heart condition will require pacemaker all through his life, but … like … for heaven’s sake! We went out to the waiting room and cried! All these years of worry and hardship. Now we can breathe out! He will phase out some of his meds as well in the coming three weeks. Mika is so strong! But! He also complained of…

Very hurtful, but nothing seemed to be broken in his arm. After a night with pain, we made a call to the public health service at 1177, and they recommended to go to the kiddie ER at our hospital Vrinnevi here in Norrköping – better safe than sorry! Lucky he was – “only” his radius was snapped out a bit, and was easily snapped back just by the doctor’s hand. And x-ray confirmed nothing was broken,…
